Materials: Found in nature

SETUP:

  1. Draw a square board and connect midpoints and diagonals with a line.
  2. Each player picks out three pieces. To differentiate between players’ pieces, these can be three light and three dark colored rocks, or three right-side-up and three right-side-down bottle caps, as shown above. Be creative.
  3. Place one player’s pieces along one edge of the board, and the other player’s pieces along the opposite edge. Pieces should only be placed at line intersections.

RULES:

  1. Players alternate moving one of his/her pieces at a time.
  2. Pieces may move from one intersection point to another along a line.
  3. Pieces may only occupy unoccupied spaces.

HOW TO WIN:

  1. A player wins when all of his/her pieces are in a line (can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal). One piece must be in the middle intersection point.
